ArcGIS Server Bootcamp Begins Soon!

The next session of our web based, instructor guided ArcGIS Server Bootcamp begins May 2nd and runs through June 10th. This is the final week to take advantage of our early registration period and seats are running out so reserve your place now. You can register for $715 through the end of this week. The price increases to $999 thereafter.

The first two weeks of this course focus on basic concepts of ArcGIS Server including:

  • The ArcGIS Server Architecture
  • License Levels and Editions
  • Understanding Resources and Services
  • How to Create Map Services
  • How to Create Geoprocessing Tasks
  • Create Map Caches
  • Use ArcGIS Server Manager to Create and Manage Services and Applications
The final four weeks of the course you will focus on your custom ArcGIS Server developer options.  This can be JavaScript, Flex, or Silverlight.  You’ll learn how to build custom GIS applications with ArcGIS Server using one of these options.  By the end of this final four weeks of the bootcamp you will be well prepared to develop custom web applications for your organization using ArcGIS Server.

New Chapter from Upcoming Book on ArcGIS Server API for JavaScript

Many of you know that I am in the process of writing a book (tentatively titled ‘The GIS Geeks Guide to Mastering the ArcGIS Server API for JavaScript”) about the ArcGIS Server API for JavaScript.  In January I released a beta chapter from this book.
